Congrega – Unlocking the potential of a Congress

Congrega began as a congress dedicated to Asset Engineering and Management. But it quickly became clear that we were dealing with something with far greater potential: a space for sharing and innovation that deserved to grow beyond a single annual event. The challenge? Transforming Congrega into a brand with its own identity recognizable, evolving, and with international ambition without losing its roots.

When UTD stepped in, Congrega was preparing its second edition. It was the right moment to take a step forward: to create a solid visual identity, designed to last and grow. The question was not just aesthetic, but strategic:

How do we create a flexible logo that works for each edition while maintaining coherence over time?

How do we visually represent the values of innovation, multidisciplinarity, and multi-party, multi-sector collaboration?

How do we prepare the brand to evolve beyond a congress format and turn it into a true global ecosystem?

More than designing a “beautiful image”, the challenge was to unlock Congrega’s potential as a living brand, capable of evolving, growing, and creating long-term impact.

We began with Congrega’24. At this stage, we focused on the essentials: a new logo and a functional website, accessible and adapted to the event’s needs. The design was created to work across multiple media, digital and physical, and the visual language was built on typography and colours that ensured both consistency and flexibility.

All decisions were made jointly with the Congrega team. It was a collaborative process, with room to test, adjust, and align expectations.

As Congrega’26 approached, the project gained a new dimension. We needed to prepare the foundation for the Congrega Ecosystem, a natural evolution that required an even more robust graphic base. We redesigned the logo to work both as the congress version and as the global brand. We developed a complete visual system: symbols, graphic elements, colour scales, merchandising applications, banners, digital interfaces, and much more.

We tested each element, listened to feedback, refined again. The objective was clear: to create a coherent and adaptable brand, with room to grow without losing its identity.

Today, Congrega is no longer just a congress. It is the brand of an international ecosystem with a clear visual narrative, an identity for each edition of the congress, always connected to other initiatives within a larger universe. The Congrega Ecosystem logo acts as a visual anchor, giving the brand coherence and strength while allowing for creative and contextual variations for each event.

With this solid foundation, Congrega is prepared for the future and for the global stage.
